After 25 years of consulting for the pharmaceutical industry, François Mignol - Doctor of Pharmacy - created Laboratoires du Cap-Ferret in 2015 to develop treatments of an ultra-high level of formulation, with clinically proven effectiveness, certified organic and " Made in France " .

He made it his mission to improve the health and beauty of the skin by building its work on a motto: the facts, nothing but the facts.

Rejecting marketing promises, superlative slogans and miracle-bringing ads backed by extravagant budgets, it builds an offering built on the scientific data of its active ingredients and the strength of clinical studies validating the performance of its products. And, of course, it takes pride in submitting its products to customer feedback, which is posted on the brand's website without selection.

To achieve this, each Laboratoires du Cap-Ferret skin care product features record numbers of active ingredients of plant and marine origin, used at their optimum concentrations. These active ingredients are selected for their richness in micro-nutrients, and therefore for their benefits to skin health.

In response to the " clean beauty " self-proclaimed by too many brands, it offers organic certification by independent bodies. And of course, the brand's products (and their ingredients) are "totally and forever excluded from animal testing", confirms the creator of the brand.

Convinced of the need to make responsible choices, he opts for 100% "Made in France" production. On this point, he insists: "You have to know what you want. Even when it comes to capital, which remains 100% French.

With a number of ingredients and active ingredients rarely found in the world of cosmetics, and moreover used at their optimum concentrations, he sees the production costs of his products soar. "The very few brands that can lay claim to this level of formulation command sales prices 2 to 3 times higher," he explains. But he refuses to accept these "exclusionary" pricing policies. What can be done?

To keep prices in check, he decided to limit distribution to online sales. "Only by eliminating resellers' margins can we offer prices well below those of direct competitors," he stresses. And he continues: "The few pharmacies and beauty salons that carry the brand have been carefully selected to give us visibility. But if we want to offer our products at decent prices, we can't pay resellers, and have to limit our distribution to online sales".

This is how Laboratoires du Cap Ferret is built: strong convictions, respected commitments, and a deep respect for the expectations and satisfaction of its customers.

"Our offer is based on established scientific data and clinically proven results. It is certified organic and Made in France," sums up the founder and director, who is still passionately committed to formulating his products.

2015

The Laboratoires du Cap-Ferret brand is created, and the first research work begins with the aim of creating natural and certified organic treatments intended to prevent and correct the signs of aging.

2016 - 2017

A vast research program leads to the identification of extracts of plant and marine origin selected for their richness in micro-nutrients, rich in anti-oxidants to combat the deleterious effect of free radicals responsible for cellular aging.

2018
